mandrake - redhat

Hi,
   I have just moved from Mandrake 9.2 RC2 to Redhat 9 due to the issues in
the final release of MDK. I have a few questions I hope you can answer

up2date = urpmi OK, can I add FTP sites like PLF to the up2date sources
database like the urpmi addmedia command?

If the above is a yes, any good URLs for Redhat specific RPMs? (like
texstar for MDK)

Can I use any of the MDK RPMs as I have loads I have sourced that I would
like to install.
