Hi,

I have /dev/sda3 mounted on /home
What I want to do is split this partition roughly in half and leave /home on
/dev/sda3, and make a /tmp out of the remaining space.
I tried using fdisk which allowed me to delete the /home partition and
remake it using half the space it used to be, but I cannot make the new
partition (/tmp) out of the remaining space using 'n add a new partition'.
It is like the remaining space is lost...
Can I use fdsik to do this? Or is there another tool I need to use?

Thanks!
