I'm in the same boat here. First I tried the java 1.4.2_01 plugin and
it at least was listed in the about:plugins as being properly
installed, but got the puzzle piece. Then I tried the 1.4.2_02 plugin
and that doesn't even show up in the about:plugins page.
For those that are picky, this is what's currently not working in my
MozillaFirebird/plugins:
libjavaplugin_oji.so ->
/usr/java/j2re1.4.2_02/plugin/i386/ns610-gcc32/libjavaplugin_oji.so
Maybe Firebird 0.7 uses a different method to recognize the java
plugin on linux? It found the Flash plugin just fine.
