your card does not show up in the list of video cards with included
drivers in Red Hat 9 either. you can either replace the card with
something that is supported directly (the easy way, and cost $20-30 for
a basic video card), or take the hard way and keep what you have, and
see the worst side of Linux/X-Windows which is trying to configure such
a card.
