I have RH9 and an nVidia FX5600 but it locks up on a regular basis. I have
spent a LONG time (weeks) trying to get it to work, but to no avail. I
have also found LOTS of others in the chat forums that have the same
problem with lock-ups and together we have unsuccessfully tried a miriad
of settings/options so it is very likely a driver problem. nVidia tech
support never replies to emails so I am at my end.
Consequently, my opinion of nVidia is pretty poor. They "claim" Linux
compatibility, but that's about it. Only a "claim".
Can anyone recommend a good 3D video card for Linux? ie with drivers that
work with RH9? I am looking at games as I haven't played UT since I
stopped using Windows 2 years ago.

PS Anyone wanna buy a used FX5600? :-(
