I have the ASUS P4C800-E Deluxe with SATA OnBoard and it works with SATA
using RH9 2.4.20smp, 2.4.23rc1, 2.4.22 (Fedora).
However, you need to start out with compatability mode instead of the
Enhanced Mode (BIOS setting).
Fedora was able to work with the Enhanced mode, but the other kernels seem
to have an issue with that. It is likely that in the future the
correct patch will be provided to resolve this as RH indicates that for
their Enterprise edition they push i875p chipsets to use the enhanced mode
but also say that compatability mode is still supported but discourged.
