I don't think it's as difficult or hard as you make it sound. The debian
installer is minimalistic. It just has what it takes to install an OS
nothing fancy.

I am not saying you did. But the OP did. He connected one time gates with

Well, GUI was not designed coz it was not needed. Now they are feeling the
need to reach out and so they are working towards developing it.

I never disagreed with your claims. All I am saying is debian is not for
newbies.
