samba error

Hi,

Not sure if this is a linux error but as i have not had any luck on the samba list i thought i'd try here to see if anyone had
experienced this before.

Linux RedHat 7.3 NAS box running samba 2.2.5, upgraded to 2.2.8a but this broke things more.

I have a network of Macs and they run Jaguar 10.2.8

They can connect to the linux box using Samba fine - They can transfer small files fine also.

Problem is when it comes to larger files - They transfer some of the file and then exit with a error 36 on the mac client. Googling
for this error it seems the client and or server disconnected.

I can tranfer this file from OSX to Windows fine -

Has anyone come up with an issue like this before and if they have whats the resolution?
