just a note: i have libart_lgpl installed because i got this when trying to
get the rpm installed:

[root@localhost rpms]# rpm -Uvh libart_lgpl-2.3.11-2.i386.rpm
warning: libart_lgpl-2.3.11-2.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID
db42a60e
Preparing... ###########################################
[100%]
        package libart_lgpl-2.3.11-2 is already installed
[root@localhost rpms]#

so its something with the compiling. ***.
