Hi,
I have some problem with an IDE CD Recorder Waitec Shuttle.

I've a Red Hat 9 on AMD k6-2 450 MHz, 256 Mb RAM, 13 Gb HD.

PRIMARY MASTER --> HARD DISK (hda)
PRIMARY SLAVE --> LG cd-reader 52x IDE (hdb)

SECONDARY MASTER --> WAITEC SHUTTLE (hdc)
SECONDARY SLAVE --> empty

I've compiled my kernel (2.4.20) to enable scsi simulation support as
described in the HOWTO(not as module) and I've disabled ATAPI-IDE
support for CDROM.
After checked that every device exists I can't mount the hdb and hdc
device(invalid device).
What can be the problem ?

Another problem is that I can't enable the DMA support on my hard disk.
I've checked that the kernel support that but I receive HDIO_DMA_FAILED
with the hdparm command. what is the problem ?

Thanks.
