Ok now I know were I am getting lost and lets me know tomarrow I have to
run to a bookstore to help me out but how do I open a prompt. Sorry if
this sounds so dumb but I have not had much time to play with RH9.

If I am reading right I should right in the prompt:
rpm -ivh up2date-3.1.23.2-1.src.rpm

I know the file is located in /home/neal

Help would be great I am finding out though I need to do some reading
bad since this seems like a basic thing for lunix.

thanks,

Neal
