Is My Hard Drive Failing?

Do these messages at boot time mean that my hard drives are bad or a CD
unit. I suspect the CD because it doesn't seem to initialize properly.

The server was put in an awkward - very hard to get to - and I am wondering
if I need to replace anything. Currently I use SSH to manage the server from
a workstation. Am I safe in assuming that these "DriveReady SeekComplete
Errors" are all tests for the CD readiness?

TIA,

Barbara
