Here is what I want:
I want to setup a smb share on linux on command line.
The reason is sometimes I work on a windows system
and telnet to the linux box. I want to share a linux
directory to windows without going over to the linux
box and start a share using redhat's gui tool. (the only
reason is that I still use windiff, which is really good
tool).
After bounch of online search, what I found is smbmount, which
mounts a windows share to linux. And I didn't success at
edit the smb.config file (didn't seems to do anything).
Redhat's GUI samba control is great, but sometimes shell commands
are much more usefull.
Thanks
Gang
