Grub Loading

Im trying to run linux (Red Hat 9) without a video card, so I configured
bios to halt on no errors. But I read on the internet that Grub will not
load without any video card. Maybe I should use LILO instead? Do I need
extra configuration for that?
Or how else can I solve this?
