Hi all!
I have a server with RedHat9 with all update from APT and up2date, but if I
look in to /var/log/messages I found that error:
Jan 15 14:01:01 RedFoxy kernel: application bug: perl5.8.0(4401) has SIGCHLD
set to SIG_IGN but calls wait().
Jan 15 14:01:01 RedFoxy kernel: (see the NOTES section of 'man 2 wait').
Workaround activated.
I found a new error every hour, with a different number beetween ().
I dunno what is it and I dunno what i must do to update perl to 5.8.2
To update perl, I have downloaded rpm package of ActivePerl 5.8.2, I found
link from www.perl.org, but after rpm -Uvh, i found a new directory called
ActivePerl-5.8 located in /usr/local/
But if I do perl -v it say that is 5.8.0 version because original Perl is
installed in /usr/bin and other directory...
What can i do to update it or to resolve my problem?
What is program that make that error in my log file?
Thank's for all and see ya! ;^)=
