Try using your carriage return (aka Enter key) a bit more
often. This aint a microsoft group. You may also wish
to consider trying another group, as your question is in no
way related to either linux or redhat.
1) SBC/Yahoo-branded DSL is available in San Jose.
2) Speakeasy.net DSL is available in San Jose.
3) Comcast in San Jose does _NOT_ offer cable modem service in
most (all?) of the city. Comcast (Nee AT&T Nee TCI) have an
antiquated two-cable system (A and B-sides) in San Jose that
doesn't support the bandwidth for broadband network access.
They'll need to replace a lot of infrastructure before they can
offer broadband in San Jose. They claim to be doing this, but
they haven't offered a timeframe.
>(3)COMCAST Cable Modem uses TV Cable, what do other Cable modems( other Cable ISPs provide ) use?

Have you ever found a city where more than one cable company has
the franchise such that more than one can deliver service to a
given home? I haven't.

The only way you can make this work in San Jose is to have
two telephone lines with two DSL services, one on each
line. (or use one of the wireless and/or satellite
soi disant broadband systems).
