Something like TMOUT but for X sessions

This would appear to be an FAQ but not a Frequently Answered Question :-)

We have a bunch of PC's which connect to the servers as thin clients.
I want to automatically chuck these off the server after a period of
inactivity (no keyboard input). If these were shell logins, TMOUT
would do this nicely, but it doesn't work with X sessions. Has anyone
got any bright ideas of how to do this? We're running RH9 on the
servers and the LTSP solution on the thin clients.

TIA
