    Hello
    Can somebody help me. I have 5.1 Cmedia card. On my linux 9 it installs
    automatically but only works as a 2.1
    I downloaded the new drivers for linux and followed the installation
    directions and some where said i may need to recompile my kernel.
    What are the steps to finish up this...please an a novice..
