Hi, everyone,

I'm from Sun Unix (Solaris) background, but a Linux newbie,we just try to
migrate
a solaris box to Linux, the hardware lists:

2X AMD Opteron 246 (2Ghz), 8G RAM
Tyran Thunder motherboard, Adaptec SCSI controller card 2010S.

Problem: Redhat AS 3 AMD64 version doesn't come with the right
driver: dpt_i2o, I called RH support many times without much
help.
               The Kernel version: 2.4.21-9ELsmp x_64

Redhat linux 7.3 has the driver so there is no probelm to
recognize
               all Raid disks.of course we can't use 7.3 becuase it's a
32-bit system
               and not supported.

Look adaptec.com I found the driver for RH 9, it's a IMG file,
I
can't find the source code though.
Help sought: can any Linux guru help in 1: locate the right driver---
like IMG file or even the O file ? Or 2: help me find
the souce code dpt_i2o.c so I can compile by myself(
out of desperation, I hooked a IDE drive in the system,
The RH AS 3 now is installed on the IDE disk, so I can compile
the driver under AMD64 Linux AS 3 enviroment).

Any advices and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
