This is the continuing post of my Yesterday's post, please help:
I actually got the files from RH network support,
But NO way I can compile, the compilation generates lots of
errors. I think the Header file definition is different under
64-bits. I did the following compilation steps, hope I didn't
do anything stupid:
# cd /usr/src/linux-2.4.21-9.EL/drivers/scsi
# gcc -c -o dpt_i2o.o dpt_i2o.c
then the compilation booms, with complaints like:
/usr/include/asm-x86_64/system.h systax error, undeclared identifier......
( more than 1000 lines of complains----mostly incomplete type , syntax error
staff).
.........
any idea why not compile under 64-bit? or I should compile it
differently.
Thanks for the help.
