This short guide may help/save time to other people :
1) this is REALLY EASY. (but unfortunatly not so well documented...)
2) fill in the form (http://forms.real.com/real/player/unix/unix.html) and download rp8_linux20_libc6_i386_cs2_rpm
3) install it :
-mv rp8_linux20_libc6_i386_cs2_rpm rp8_linux20_libc6_i386_cs2.rpm
-rpm -Uvh rp8_linux20_libc6_i386_cs2.rpm
4) download rv9_libc6_i386_cs2.tgz
(http://docs.real.com/docs/playerpatch/unix/rv9_libc6_i386_cs2.tgz)
5) decompress it : tar xzvf rv9_libc6_i386_cs2.tgz
6) as specified in the readme.txt, just copy the codec/plugin in the right
location (which are /usr/lib/RealPlayer8/Codecs and
/usr/lib/RealPlayer8/Plugins)
7) /usr/X11R6/bin/realplay to start it (standalone)
8) make mozilla aware of the new plugin. Copy /usr/lib/RealPlayer8/rpnp.so
to your mozilla "plugins" directory.
That's it.
