Hi,
My NTP service failed to start properely after a machine reboot a couple of
days ago and for about 5 hours the machine thought it was the 24th rather
than the 23rd.
As a result i have a section of my webserver log file where the entries
start 040224- instead of 040223-
Does anyone have a neat bit of shell that i could borrow to tun over the log
and get it fixed up? I have the 'usual' commands available to me on a RedHat
box.
I'm guessing sed is a good option but i can't seem to get the syntax right!
thanks
Tom
