- "I have made up the company name abc for ease" I am a total newbie and have just setup a Linux server (RH9) at work, instaled Samba file sharing, interbase, all ok. We have a website and email supplied by an ISP, lets just say www.abc.com and the mail server at the ISP is mail.abc.com. The computer is setup with the hostname "abcserver.abcdomain". In the "redhat-config-bind" program for Domain Name Service, it is all set at the default with localhost etc and not abcserver. My machine is 100% up to date. I have also setup a static IP for the machine on the local network of 192.168.0.100. I want the machine to fetch the emails from mail.abc.com and filter them to different users (ie bob@abc.com, boss@abc.com, etc.). I would also like boss@abc.com to get a copy of all emails. I have read about sendmail, procmail, etc. and see only scripting which is really complicated. I have downloaded pdf's and I am still confused. Email server setup
