Lexar jumpshot

i'm trying to get my lexar compact flash reader working
on my RH9
dmesg shows it detected as scsi0

but if i try to mount it i just get an error message "device scsi0 does
not exist"

when i try MAKEDEV scsi0 the error message i get is "don't know how to make
device scsi0"

(i tried adding the device to fstab but just get an error on bootup about
no such device)

supposedly this card reader is supported...just wondering if anyone has one
working
