Oh dear, lost all my passwords!!!

Well none of my passwords are being accepted!

I think this may have been necause I was playing around and I did
"./new-users /etc/passwd" or alike. I wasn't root when I did this,
but this is all I can think of that I could have done.

How can I recover my passwd file, I can't log on at all!?!?!? :(
