running up2date actually. When I installed and went to update, it hung
while retrieving packages/checking dependancies
I have no idea why. I installed from a distro I got from a SAMS book
about Fedora which came with 2 CDs and 1 DVD. it installed flawlessly, I
got to GNOME desktop, logged in as root, and attempted to run up2date. It
always hung at the same point
