Two;

First, don't close the CD close only the session, use the '-multi' switch
and/or the '-nofix' switch when creating multisession CD's.

Second, use the 'blank=unclose' switch to open the CD-RW media for
additional writing.

See 'man cdrecord' without the quotes for the details.
