I noticed that when I into RedHat 9, and the various processes that are
starting are listed to the screen, the boot process pauses for about a
minute when the Sendmail process is listed, and then for about another
minute when the Sm-client process is listed. Eventually both processes
start successfully.
All other processes start quickly, and I did not notice the slow
Sendmail and Sm-client issue right after I installed the OS (the problem
appears to have gotten worse with time).
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
