Lost sound in Fedora

I have used Fedora Core 1 off and on since it was released. I have
encountered a problem I have never had before. When reinstalling both my
integrated sound (SIS chip) and my Sound Blaster Live card were seen by
kudzu. When configuring the card both the SIS sound controller and my SB
Live card were offered to be tested. My integrated chip is disabled in the
BIOS and did not test successfully but my SB Live card did. Now after
installation I have no sound. When I run the aRts server utility it allows
that the daemon as been disabled. I do not know what to do next. Any
suggestions would be appreciated.
