my RH9 server is having problems at the moment in that it's freezing
(both in GUI and TUI modes) and falling off the network.
I've added a new graphics card recently as the onboard one was crap
(only went to 640*480). There is nowhere to disable onboard graphics
in the bios. I've tried changing the resolution but that hasn't
worked.
I'm pretty sure it's not this tho.
The server does not respond to a ping request from a windows pc on the
network which leads me to believe that it's not a graphics card
problem.
I'm going to try a different card to see if that sorts it but what
else should I look for?
There are no messages in /var/log either that give any clues
thanks
