I haven't tried as I don't currently have Fedora running.
But Upgrading to php 4.3.6 shouldn't cause any problems as 4.3.4 is
included and so it would be only a minor upgrade.
Aren't the changes in the third digit are just for bugfix releases?
Upgrading mysql to 4.1.x or higher causes problems as the mysql
communication protocol has changed and therefor clients need to be linked
against the new client-lib but again 4.0.x should do.
But as I said I haven't tried, good luck.
