RH 7.3 - Network really slow?

Hi,

I just installed RH 7.3. My machine has a Dlink DFE-530TX NIC, and the
drivers etc. seemed to install ok. I can get to the network (e.g.,
using NS browser), but the network speed is really slow. I ran a test
at a couple of sites, and am getting from 6kbit/sec to 300kbits/sec,
whereas on another PC with Win2K, I am getting 3Mbit/sec.

This machine had Win2K on it before, and this NIC worked fine before.

I had installed Fedora Core 2, and was having slow network problems, and
now I cleaned the machine off and installed 7.3, and am still having
similar problems.

Any ideas about what I might try to get the speeds up?
