"mounting" a folder....

Hello there,

I have created a forder "share" , as the same level of /var/ftp/pub !
So, when you connect on the ftp server, you can see :
PUB folder
SHARE folder.

Now, I need to "mount" this folder to another one /home/<name>/software

So when you will click on SHRE, you should see all the software available in
/home/<name>/software.

the problem is when I type :
mount /home/<name>/software/ /mnt/share it says... this a folder !! (..yes
of course ) and doesn't want to mount it at all !
or said that software is not a block device (yes,.. true as well :-)
-Do you know how to mount such folder ?
