"make" error

Hi,

I was trying to install SMTP Vilter...
But I didn't get to install it, because even the compilation failed:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lsyslog

How does one resolve this? (It's a Fedora Core 2 System.)

Any help would be appreciated.
