    I'm running Fedora Core 2, which comes with Mozilla 1.7 (I think). I
    also recently installed Firefox 0.9.1. Both seem to have this same
    problem, Javascript doesn't work on the Korean pages my wife likes to
    visit. There are a couple with this problem, but it's easiest to see
    on http://www.yahoo.co.kr There's a set of buttons on the top of the
    page, mail, games, etc, same stuff that's there in English, just a
    little bit different order. In any case, clicking those buttons
    doesn't open any windows or anything for me. I don't have pop-up
    blocking or anything like that turned on. If I check the Tools->Java
    script console, it tend to have a large number of these sorts of
    errors:

    Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure
    code: 0x804b000a [nsIPrefBranch.getComplexValue]" nsresult:
    "0x804b000a (<unknown>)" location: "JS frame ::
    chrome://browser/content/search.xml :: getDefaultEngine :: line 70"
    data: no]

    Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a work around? My wife
    needs to use these pages, and we're not using windows anymore.
