Hello,
I am fairly new to Linux. I am a Windows professional. I know that I am
cursing now, but I want to learn more about Linux to improve my knowledge
and skills. So far I managed to use Linux as file server, DHCP-server and
DNS-server. But for me it would be very easy to use Linux as a terminal
server, you know something like Citrix MetaFrame XP or Windows Terminal
Services, this way I can use Linux independently from where I am. Besides
that my company wants to start to use Linux software, but only if I can make
a terminal environment. This to give users the chance to get familiar with
the system. We already have a Citrix environment. It would be nice if we
could integrate the Linux terminal in the Citrix environment. Allthough I
don't think it is possible. So as you probably understand I need a GUI and
not a textmode terminal server. I hope that someone can put me on the right
way to make this little project a success.
With kind regards,
Blue Ice.
