Hostname Issue

I have a LInksis BEFCMU10 Cable Modem which is working great in FC2,
except the fact that the hostname has changed to the MAC address of the
modem. This causes problems when I update FC2 with resolving the renamed
MAC Address hostname. I can manually rename the hostname back to
"hostname.localhost.localdomain" and finish updating, but when I reboot,
the MAC Address is reinstalled as the hostname. How can I keep a
resolvable hostname when I reboot?
