weird behavior

I've just migrated to Fedora Core 2 from Mandrake 10. The reason I
migrated was the amazing apt-get system. Wel over the past 24 hours I've
been going through hell. My mouse has been misbehaving. It suddenly
won't accept the left click button. I have to click the other buttons a
few times, only then will it become a little better. Then after some
time it all becomes all right again.

I've tried three different mice, two PS/2 and now this one serial. So I
don't think it's the mouse that the issue. BTW I'm using GNOME 2.6.

I can provice any more details if necessary.
