I'm using two computers at home, connected via a switch, and connected
to the net via a adsl-router. They're both using Fedora Core 2.
The desktop computer contains a directory /opt/ I'm sharing with the laptop.
I have the following line in /etc/exports:
/opt 10.0.0.0/255.255.255.0(rw,no_root_squash)
The desktop computer's firewall is disabled.
And fstab on the laptop contains the following line:
localhost.localdomain:/opt /net/opt nfs
defaults,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,soft,timeo=60 0 0
The laptop's firewall is enabled.
The laptop mounts /net/opt at boot, but I'm not getting an icon on my
desktop, and no icon when I browse "Computer" (the icon on the desktop).
How can I get the icon, when /net/opt is mounted?
