i'm setting ipalias' using ifconfig. all is well except it won't save
changes. everytime i reboot, i lose the settings and have to do ifconfig
again. anybody?

Changing the ifconfig arguments on the link that ... probably be able to reconnect after a reboot,... address, add several IP alias, add some static routes and so on. ... I think a shell script could do it, but I don't konw how to write this ... (comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.misc)
Re: Solaris 10 6/06 frustrations ... I explicitly bring it up after each reboot using ifconfig.... remote X sessions can't access the machine, it doesn't respond to pings, ... But thereafter (until reboot) it seems to do those things fine. ... docs.sun.com might be slightly less gibberish.... (comp.unix.solaris)
