Very green newbie here, so please have patience.

I use VM Ware on a Windows XP box to do training. One of the virtual
machines I built was a Fedora 2 box. It worked fine and I was able to
do my training with no problem.

I recently slicked the Windows box and reinstalled VMWare. Exact same
setup. Now when I build the Fedora virtual machine it cannot start the
xserver graphical display and goes into the text login screen.

    >From what I can gather this might have something to do with the
refresh rate that is set during installation, but like I said I am
pretty new to this. Does anyone have any suggestions? Can I or should
I change a config file somewhere? I have tried no less than 4
reinstalls all with the same results. I don't understand why it would
work fine on the original install but crap out on later installs.
