Sound on my system works. Kind of. Whenever I shut down and reboot (boot
into Windows, turn PC off overnight, etc), and boot back into Linux, the
sound system is disabled until I run alsaconf again. Then everything works
properly until the next reboot. I've tried saving settings using alsactl,
but that doesn't really help either.
Any thoughts?
One other thing... I tried installing a KDE theme, and got teh following
error:
ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:549:(snd_pcm_hw_start) SNDRV_PCM_IOCTL_START failed:
Broken pipe.
