MySQL Crash Suggestions

    Hello all,

    Recently my MySQL database crashed in a strange manner. Basically the
    Fedora Core 1 RPM Manager says that it isn't installed. So I can't
    uninstall it and start from scratch. When I try to install it I get the
    error saying that MySQL is already installed...? I don't get it.

    Is there a header file that I need to delete of what would you guys
    recommend? Thanks in advance.
