Mplayer on Redhat 9

Hi NG

    Im a newbie linux user... Is there anyone who can explain to me, how to
install the mplayer RPM package. I tryed to open the file and it startet to
unpack, but when done I cant find the program anywhere... Realy hope you can
help.

Running Linux RedHat 9 with Gnome 2.8 desktop.
