Hello
I am having problems with installing Fedora on a Dell 410.
Some background, I did have fedora installed with no problems when
there was 9GB SCSI drive and a SCSI CDROM, I then tried to add
another 9GB SCSI drive and a IDE CDROM.
I set up the IRQ of the first drive as 0 (never changed) and then the
new one as 1, the SCSI CDROM is on the IRQ 5.
What I am seeing now is the installer is either saying there is not a
bootable device (inserting Fedora Disk one in SCSI CDROM) or if I put
the CD in the IDE CDROM the installer hangs at /sbin/loader and does
nothing.
I have formatted both drives and it makes no difference either.
I wondering if any one has any guesses at what I may have changed to
stop it working, I have tried to take out the new SCSI (compaq by the
way) and it made no difference.
Many thanks,
Paul
