filter proxy server recommendations

I have a need which seems to be difficult to fill. I need a content
filter proxy with the characteristic that I can customize certain groups
of computers by ip address to allow for certain items such as exe files,
etc, while still filtering content.

I tried Dan's Guardian which I thought was great, but it did not have the
feature I need. I looked at squidguard, but could not get it installed
due to problems with the dependency on bd, but I am still looking into
that. I also do not believe that squidguard is still being maintained as
the last release was over three years ago.

If anybody has any suggestions, I am appreciative.
