I haven't had a problem with the same card in any Fedora Core Release.
It is detected without a problem and I could chaneg settings by running
system-config-network from a terminal window or by going to "Red Hat
Menu --> System Settings --> Network" or by manually editing the network
text files. Out of the box with a DHCP wireless network that doesn't
have WEP it comes up just fine (I recommend avoid WEP and using a VPN
client to protect your data). Also if I add the card to the PCMCIA slot
after bootuing my laptip, restarting the network with "service network
restart" brings it up.
