Jabberd2 and AS3

Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with jabberd2 (Stable 6)
using LDAP authentication on Advanced Server 3.
My problem keeps pointing to the OpenLDAP version (2.0.x) on AS3 vs the
required version (>=2.1.x) for jabberd2.
Is anyone else having a similar issue, or has anyone gotten around it?
