First, what kind of apple is it? If it's not at least a 68k Mac
(Motorola 68000 processor), it likely won't give you any luck at all.

Next, you have to make sure you have a PPC version of RedHat (Yellow Dog
3.0 Sirius is a pretty good one).

Finally, when you have all of that, hold down the 'c' key while powering
on to get the Mac to boot from CD.
