I have the following problem with route/dhcp on my fedora laptop:
I've installed an usb wlan adapter with ndiswrapper - and it's all fine
except the default gateway. I didn't get a default route (all windows pc's
in the network get one) . So I thought: no problem, I only have to add the
route manually:
route add default gw 192.168.1.1 wlan0
The entry has been added to the kernel routing table, but only for a few
seconds. I think it could be the DHCP-client that "overwrites" the kernel
routing table. Does anyone have an idea what to do to add this default route
"static". Any process I can kill to stop this "overwriting"?
